JULY 17, 2008-CARSON CITY, NV

After a terrific win at Rocky Mountain Raceways July 5, the S&S Motorsports team headed home to Carson City.

Driver Troy Regier was busy with autographs and meeting with fans, as were many of the supermodified drivers. Fans in the Twin Falls, Idaho, and Salt Lake City areas love supermodified racing and the SMRA put on a great show
for them.

The team will head to Madera Speedway in Madera, Calif. Friday morning, July 18, for a Saturday evening race.

Co-owners Steve Shaw and Tom Silsby have performed general maintenance on the racecar, and had a small leak in the left front shock fixed. "It had a minor leak so we got that taken care of," Steve said. "We also made a couple of adjustments on the rear brakes."

The S&S Motorsports team welcomes all race fans to Madera Speedway to see
the supermodifieds back in action and to visit them in the pits after the
main event.

Visit the Web site often for photos and updates of the progress of Troy
Regier and the S&S Motorsports team.

AUGUST 7, 2008-CARSON CITY, NV

Troy Regier and S&S team ready to rebound at Madera

Steve Shaw and Tom Silsby have been working hard going over the baby blue No. 98 supermodified getting ready for Madera Speedway's fifth of six scheduled races for the Supermodified Racing Association.

After working to find the right combination at the July race, the team changed tires, shocks, springs, wing angle, gears ... you name it, it may have been adjusted. Possibly twice.

Considering the brakes, Tom and Steve changed master cylinders on the front and rear of the car, changed shocks and tires for Saturday's race.

Troy was not having adequate success with the brake system on the car in July, thus the change on the master cylinders.

"We're kind of going back to basics," Tom said. "We'll see how it does."

"We do have different master cylinders that will work a bit differently and should be better for Troy," Steve added. "We're also going to go with a different tire set up."

The team will head to Madera Friday to get adequate rest for Saturday's race.

The team is happy to announce they will have their new Troy Regier/S&S Motorsports T-shirt available for purchase in the pits after the race. The design is sleek with sharp features and eye-popping colors.

T-shirts are $20 each and Troy will happily autograph them for the race fan.

S&S Motorsports looks forward to seeing race fans at Saturday's race at Madera Speedway.
